Update
I don’t have any photos to post tonight (with only plastic for a window I decided to not take my camera with me today). However, I did stop by the house after getting the truck window replaced and the contractor was still there along with the crew. The second floor now has a second coat of paint along with part of the first floor. The wiring in the garage is also partially finished which is in anticipation of the installation of the garage doors. Some concrete work will still need to be done to the garage to even out the floor so there isn’t a gap where the doors close and light fixtures need to be installed but it is very close to being finished.
I think all of the light fixtures are now in so the nest time the electrician comes all of those will be installed. The hardwoods on the second floor will be buffed and will get a second coat of poly tomorrow. They will also be putting poly on the trim in the front rooms on the second floor and will finished getting a second coat of paint on the walls. The countertops will be installed near the end of the week and then the stove and dishwasher will be installed. That leaves the plumbing fixtures to be installed, some concrete work to be done in the basement, a door to the outside from the basement, and some final painting and the inside of the house will be mostly done (of course, I am sure I am forgetting some things).
On the outside, the deck needs stairs and the side door steps need to be fixed/replaced. A concrete pad needs to be poured at the bottom of the deck stairs, the outside stairs to the basement need to be capped with concrete, and the concrete along the east side of the house needs to be fixed/replaced. Also the privacy fence needs to be built and the gutters/soffits need to be installed/finished. There are also some large chunks of concrete left from the demolition that need to be removed from the backyard plus the dirt needs to be leveled, etc. The front stairs and sidewalk also probably need to have something done to them but I am going to try and avoid dealing with those at this time.
