The weekend project

This Saturday I had help pulling up the concrete in the backyard, some along the side of the house, and a little in front. We rented a concrete saw from Home Depot which my brother operated - he does gas engines - I don't. We also had some crow bars, a maul, and some chisels. And a lot of muscle...

I bought some spray paint to use to draw out the location of the new sidewalk, retaining wall, and flagstone patio. My youngest nephew decided to use it to paint designs in the yard instead. We were all to tired to go stop him.

Update

Sorry I have been derelict in posting updates lately. Quite frankly, since the move I have been worn out. Immediately after the move I went to Miami for a conference – while the beach was nice, the later nights and early mornings took it out of me. And after that I got sick – not sick enough to not go to work but sick non-the-less. I finally went to the doctor after struggling with that for more than two weeks. This last weekend my family was in town for an official viewing so the place got cleaned up and organized.

Hopefully I will be able to get more regular about updating again.
